The Curious Wonder Cabinet (Jonna Hayden) Staffed by a collective of eccentric artisans making crafts and keepsakes unique to the Great Dickens Christmas Fair, The Curious Wonder Cabinet presents fine potions, odd small creatures, period capelets for your wardrobe, fancy cuffs, pretty pin cushions, and sundries to delight all.
The Curious Wonder Caravan (Nadya Geras-Carson) exhibits sculptures and paintings, mostly of the animal kind, dressed to impress. Nadya’s sculptures are hand-painted porcelain, and the paintings are done in oils and range in size from 4 x 4 inches to 9 x 12 inches. This year, Nadya will be introducing new pieces in both bronze and cast glass. Her peculiar sense of humor and theatrical sensibilities are apparent in all her work. Time Trinkets (Arynne Elfenbein) Handmade adornments for the amusement and delight of fashionable ladies and gentlemen… pendants, hair combs, earrings, brooches and hat pins, cravat pins, cuff links, watch fobs and badges. Dickensian themes of passing time, the novelty of scientific illustration, and the gears that keep the ‘Wheels of Industry’ moving, are all represented.
