Banner-Tickets

Red Barn Productions, producers of The Great Dickens Christmas Fair, is concerned about protecting the privacy of all Dickens Fair website visitors. Red Barn Productions does not collect personally identifying data, such as names, addresses, email addresses, and the like, except when voluntarily submitted by website visitors. Our site includes forms for site visitors to submit information or to sign up for our email list. Our site links to online ticketing software (Eventbrite); patron contact information collected by Eventbrite may be used to contact the patron when necessary (for Eventbrite’s privacy policy, please see https://www.eventbrite.com/privacypolicy/). Information that Red Barn Productions collects is used to make our website more useful by helping us learn about the number of visitors to our site and the types of technology our visitors use. The information we receive depends on what you do when visiting this site.

Personal information

We obtain personal information when you sign up for our email list, if you submit an online vendor application through our website, or if you purchase tickets via Eventbrite. This personal information may include your name, email address, phone number, street address, etc. We will not sell your information to third parties, including third party advertisers.

Aggregated information collected through technology

Because of the way Internet computer servers work, we receive certain types of information about general activity at the Red Barn Productions website. This does not include personal identifying information, but does include the number of times the Dickens Fair website is visited, which pages are requested most, the domain names from which visitors are coming, and the date and time of each visit. Red Barn Productions compiles this information into an aggregate form for statistical analysis and reporting. These reports track website activity overall rather than on an individual level.

Because aggregated information does not include personal identifying information, we cannot use aggregated information to identify you. We review it for statistical purposes. We may disclose aggregated data to third parties (such as advertisers or actual or potential donors) or include it in public records.

Information collected through technology

We collect information from visitors to the Website regarding the referring URL, your IP address, which browser you used to come to the Website, the country, state and telephone area code where your server is located and the pages of the Website that you viewed during your visit. Some of this information is gathered through the following technologies:

Cookies. In order to improve your user experience we may use cookies. “Cookies” are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. Generally, cookies work by assigning to your computer a unique number that has no meaning outside of the Website. Our cookies do not generally contain any personally identifying information. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually configure your browser to prevent this. Not accepting cookies may make certain features of the Website unavailable to you.

IP Address. You can visit the Dickens Fair Website anonymously without the need to become a registered user. However, we may collect IP addresses automatically. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you begin service with an Internet Service Provider. Each time you access the Website and each time you request one of our pages, our server logs your IP address. Standing alone, your IP address is not necessarily personally identifiable.

Web Beacons. Red Barn Productions may use a variety of other technical methods for tracking purposes, including Web beacons (aka “pixel tags”). Web beacons are small pieces of data that are embedded in web pages and emails. We may use these technical methods on our website to track pages that have been visited, and in HTML emails that we send our users to determine whether they have opened those emails and/or clicked on links in those emails. The information from use of these technical methods may be collected in a form that is personally identifiable.

Newsletters & promotional emails; opt-out option

If you have signed up for our email list, we may from time to time send you email or other communications regarding current promotions, specials, and new additions to the Website or from our marketing partners or sponsors. If you have supplied us with your telephone number(s), you may receive telephone calls from us with information or requests for information regarding an order you have placed. You may “opt out” or unsubscribe from our newsletters and non-transactional related emails and disclosures to third parties for promotional purposes by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email you receive from us.
