 Strawbenders (Morgyn Owens-Celli) Morgyn Owens-Celli has been a straw artist for 25 years, from a family where this art is over five generations old. Having learned his art in a traditional manner, much of Morgyn's work reflects the designs that are native to this art form and his family heritage. As an artist, he has explored the medium and continues to push the boundaries of its physical limitations. Samples of his work are in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institution, and two American presidents have displayed his work in the White House.
